While this method produces very strong necklaces, rough handling, for example: being pulled by young children, may still cause breakage. It is advised that appropriate care be taken when wearing and handling the beautiful STK Designer Jewellery purchase you have made.

It is important to remember that all gemstones and freshwater pearls are fragile and need to be handled with care. When not being worn, your STK Designer Jewellery purchase should be placed in a separate storage container (whether that be a jewellery box or some other form of storage), to avoid damage by rubbing with other pieces of jewellery or by being crushed by metallic jewellery. Particular care should be taken not to drop your STK Designer Jewellery (especially onto hard surfaces) as this will inevitably result in damage to the gemstones and freshwater pearls.  It is also advisable to avoid wearing your STK Designer Jewellery while bathing and swimming.

Caution is required with pieces of STK Designer Jewellery that use beads such as: coral, red jade and some colours of freshwater pearls. In some cases, these beads have been dyed to enhance their colour; particular care should be taken when wearing these pieces on hot days as the increase in body temperature may cause discolouration to skin and clothing. Although the likelihood of discolouration is rare, it is a possibility, therefore please take necessary precautions - avoid wearing STK Designer Jewellery with red toned beads, e.g., coral, read jade and dark pink freshwater pearls on days of excessive heat.
